Why take a break?

When you are over-worked and over-stress you don’t perform as well, you get tired more easily and make mistakes. You should be taking a break every once in a while. The frequency of the breaks and the length of the breaks as well as what you do during the breaks is really up to you, but take a break.
This is why a regular job has built-in breaks, like a 9-5 job would typically have a 15 minute break around 10am and another around 3pm.
When talking about a busier life style, you have 4 kids and they each have 2 activities per week, you will be rushing like crazy. Now, I’m not saying that’s even a good idea to have some crazy schedule like that, even Dani Johnson says we should not do this, but, if you do, just remember to take a break for yourself.
Make sure you take a break
On the other hand, if you have projects that keep you busy, it’s important to take a break from that too. If you are passionate about what you do, you probably won’t know when to take a break or realize you need one so you should schedule it into your calendar to make sure it happens.
