Stop Complaining
I know this is a tough one. We all need to stop complaining because no one really cares about our complaints. I realize it’s not always easy when things are going terribly wrong in our life but if you can stop yourself and realize that complaining won’t make things any better and it won’t really make you feel better, you have a chance at stopping the complaints.
I think that something we can all agree on is that we don’t like someone who complains. I hear people in the grocery lines talk about how their trip had all sorts of problems or how they think it’s horrible that we re-use bags because of hygiene issues or that their neighbors dog does it’s business on his lawn. I try to be nice and listen if they are talking directly to me, but inside I want to get way from them.
People on Facebook
We see people on Facebook who only comment on negative stuff happening to them. I understand they may be going through difficult times but I promise you, if that is you right now, no one wants to hear about your problems. You risk having people unfriend you or at the very least stop liking your stuff which is surely not what you want.
I’m not saying to never complain, just don’t do it all the time. Successful people never (ok, almost never) complain. If you want success in your life, if you want to attract success, you need to stop complaining if you are prone to that.
I’m not perfect
Personally, I try to avoid complaining and if you ask my friends and family, I’m pretty sure they’ll tell you I don’t complain. As I said though, I’m not perfect and I’m sure I’ve complained here and there.
Again, I don’t want to be mean and I know this is a tough subject, but it is one that needs to be said. If you want success, you need to stop complaining.
Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh is constantly complaining – I’m sure you don’t see yourself as that. What do you think of this difficult topic? Let me know by commenting below.
